- I am having a bit of a problem. I am attempting to connect several (3) new
- computers to the net using a 3c509 card. The intent is novell (odi) plus
- winsock under WFW 3.11. I can get novell connectivity on all -- but not
- winsock. I am using 3c509s on two other machines and can accomplish this stunt
- without a hitch. So... I took one of the units and replaced the 3com with an
- SMC card. {We are using the SMCs on another 10 plus units, again without any
- obvious problems.} Now I can get winsock but no novell. Each of the units
- where I am having problems has a CD drive, but IRQ/memory conflict is not
- obvious. I am (almost) certain there is a memory conflict here, but cannot
- define it. Has anyone had similar experience?

-
- Both login.cmd and bye.cmd comes with your Trumpet Winsock distribution file.
- Check in the ZIP file to see if they are there - if not, you should FTP a new
- copy.
